“Arthur Christmas” (2011) is set on Christmas Eve with Santa’s elves preparing for his high-tech holiday delivery when a slight mishap causes a single present to go undelivered. However, Santa’s youngest son Arthur, a well-meaning but clumsy boy, makes it a personal mission to deliver the present to its rightful owner at any cost. Along Arthur’s hilarious adventure that has him carried off to strange new places, he learns the meaning of the Christmas spirit.
The historic Paramount Theatre, which opened its doors in 1931, has been completely restored by its owner Classic Cinemas.
