If you are considering adopting a parakeet or already share your life with one or more of these delightful little parrots, you will gain a better understanding of parakeet behavior and learn about their proper care. Parakeets originate in Australia, a hot and dry region, where wild flocks still reside. We will be discussing how their wild instincts affect their behavior in our home.
Some of the issues we will be covering are:
Housing.
Diet.
Basic Care.
Toys - inanimate objects, mirrors and their attraction/obsession to them.
Parakeet Behaviors; i.e., nippiness, biting, etc.
Speech
Copies of Pipsqueak!'s book will be available for purchase, and personal autographs will be signed for all books purchased.
We look forward to seeing you all there! It will be fun and informative!
