In 2008, when Paper Arrows released their debut album 'Look Alive,' the Chicago Tribune's Red Eye wrote, "did rock superstars Radiohead steal local band Paper Arrows' idea?" In 2009, Paper Arrows' follow up 'Things We Would Rather Lose' received play on 200 college radio stations and was licensed to tv shows on MTV, VH, E!, Oxygen and Fox Sports.
