Palmetto Panorama Steel Band Festival May 16, 2010

The Palmetto Panorama Steel Band Festival premieres Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 2-7PM at Finlay Park. The festival is designed to raise awareness of music in schools and the Midlands vibrant local steel pan community.

Palmetto Panorama, free to the public, will be an afternoon of non-stop steel pan and percussion music and family-friendly carnival-like celebration in beautiful Finlay Park in downtown Columbia, South Carolina!

A grand finale will include school bands and professional bands performing a piece by renowned percussion artist Lalo Davila.
