Free Community Event - Electronics Recycling Collection
PALM SPRINGS, CA – The City of Palm Springs has teamed up with All Green Electronics Recycling to host an electronics recycling event that is FREE to the community. Residents and businesses can take the opportunity to clean out their garage or store room, and have broken or obsolete electronics recycled in an environmentally ethical manor. All Green is an E-Stewards pledge company with a “ZERO” landfill and “ZERO” diversion policy.
The event will be held on Saturday, November 20 from 7:30AM to 1:00PM at 5201 E. Ramon Ave ( intersection of Hwy 111 and Ramon ), Palm Springs, CA. 92264 (IN THE NORTH EAST portion of Lowes Home Improvement Center PARKING LOT) The process is simple, load up your car with unwanted electronics, and the event staff will handle the rest. Items accepted range from small electronics to appliances. Old computers and televisions are most notable, but any item that plugs into the wall will be accepted. Certified data destruction is available for computer hard-drives.
