The Palette Club of Ogden was organized in 1943, to encourage artists and advance community interest in visual art. Club members still have the same goals, 70 years later. Approximately 100 members of the club are spread from Bountiful to Logan, and range in ability from beginner to master professionals. The artists meet on the second Tuesday of each month at the South Ogden Senior Center, for demonstrations of art techniques and lectures on related topics. Several times a year, members organize art exhibits and competitions.
