Paintings by Various Artist January 15, 2009

This exhibition of paintings of India by western artists, from collections in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London is a must see. Indian Life and Landscape will cover a time span of over two centuries from the relatively early days of European travel to the subcontinent in the 17th century, up to within about the end of the 19th century. About 100 exhibits, including oil paintings, watercolor drawings and sketches by 30 artists will be on display.
