A tribute to the 1930s, 40s, and 50s Big Band style with the John Hoey Orchestra. John Hoey recreates the authentic Big Band arrangements of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James, Count Basie, Louis Jordan, and Louis Prima with a special Frank Sinatra segment from vocalist, Rick Anthony. A concert where people are encouraged to get up and dance in the aisles, this is as authentic as it gets. The Hoey Orchestra plays up and down the east coast for many nightclubs, corporate events, private functions. The demand for this band is due to the precise reproduction of the material of these artists. John Hoey is a former member of the Glenn Miller Orchestra and his sidemen have also played with many well-known acts.
