PAGE TURNER 2011 Literary Festival October 29, 2011

Come rub elbows and knock knees with your favorite writers and thinkers at one of Brooklyn’s best alternative literary festivals: the third annual PAGE TURNER: The Asian American Literary Festival. To celebrate our 20th birthday, we’ll start with an anniversary brunch and story session recounting the last twenty years of the Workshop as community, literary space, and arts scene. Our all-day line-up features many award-winning writers, including Junot Díaz, Amitav Ghosh, Kimiko Hahn, Hari Kunzru, Teju Cole, Jayne Anne Phillips, and many others. We’ll conclude the evening with a stage reading directed by Ralph Peňa to honor the recipient of this year's Asian American Lifetime Achievement Award, the legendary Jessica Hagedorn.
