Padam Padam transports you to cabarets and streets, nooks and crannies, in corners of the world, playing and singing music from contemporary America, steamy Latin America and the European cabaret scene. You'll find yourself wandering down late night memory-drenched streets in Grenada, huddling together in a tornado in Barbados and rafting through canyons in the sand. Come hear tunes by Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht, Eddie Cantor, Xavier Cugart, Tom Waits, Jacques Brel and even Ms. Piaf herself. Plus some outstanding Padam Padam originals.
Padam Padam is appearing at TaborSpace, in the heart of Belmont, on Saturday, March 13 at 7:30 PM. Enter through the double courtyard doors facing Belmont st. for an evening of passion, humor and romance. All ages are welcome.
Padam Padam includes vocalist Lisa Berkson Platt; Barbara Bernstein on viola, Venezuelan cuatro, guitar and vocals; Kathy Fors on accordion and Jaime Leopold on bass, guitar and piano.
