Padam Padam & the Poets at Dharma Rain Zen Center February 20, 2009

Padam Padam, Portland's premiere Cabaret Music act, will be playing at Dharma Rain Zen center this Friday, February 20th, 2008 at 8 pm. Padam Padam's wonderful & often moving musical offerings come from a variety of 20th century cabaret performers and composers — from Edith Piaf, to Brecht & Weill, Jaques Brel & Tom Waits. They will present a “Cabaret of Words and Music” at Dharma Rain in the Zendo as part of their “Tiny Church Tour” at churches in the area, including some short readings by local portland poets. Tickets will be $10 at the door, festival seating, and proceeds will be split between the group and Dharma Rain Zen Center.
