Fans can root for their favorite team at this season’s monthly family friendly bouts.
The event is free to the public, although donations are greatly appreciated. Fans are encouraged to bring beach chairs for comfort to this family friendly event. The first whistle blows promptly at 5pm at Kamiloiki Community Park, on the corner of Hawaii Kai Drive and Lunalilo Home Road.
ABOUT PACIFIC ROLLER DERBY:
In 2008, Pacific Roller Derby (PRD) brought back the excitement of roller derby back to Honolulu, Hawaii. The all female flat track roller derby team has in a very short time showed fans, both old and new, what it means to compete, push one’s self to their highest potential and form a strong community around a sport so often ignored. As members of this league we strive to continue to keep the enthusiasm alive and spread the derby love.
