Music Is Love Recordings will be showcasing their stellar roster this April at Pacha Presents…and we can now reveal who will be hitting the decks.
MIL will present New Jack City, Oli Furness, Mikki Funk and Threez A Crowd, bringing some of the freshest and deepest house music to the Pacha main room. Whether it has a classic or contemporary sound, MIL has got something for every Pacha reveller.
With MIL wanting to create a “movement for true house music to rise from the ashes of the modern dance world and hold its true place on top of the pile”, we can prepare ourselves for an epic night.
New Jack City
Dynamic duo New Jack City, made up of brothers Rogier and Guido Verbaal, first entered the house scene in 2011.
Naming some of their musical influences as Todd Terry, Kerri Chandler, Grant Nelson, MK and Jeremy Sylvester, New Jack City has always adopted an Oldskool 90s house vibe, with just a splash of garage.
The pair is under three labels at the moment, the most notable being Music Is Love Records, who are based in Manchester.
The guys’ latest track to hit their SoundCloud is their ‘Tomorrow Is Now, Kid’ EP.
