Ozumo Oakland to Co-Host Block Party & Back to School Fundraiser October 8, 2011

On Saturday, October 8 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Ozumo Restaurant, along with eleven other area merchants plus East Bay Loop and Amanda Vail Events, will co-host the 2nd Annual Uptown Oakland Block Party & Back to School Fundraiser for the Oakland public schools. By purchasing a pre-event ticket for $30.00, partygoers will receive a complimentary cocktail at hosting venues and access to food specials offered that night, including a Sushi Sampler at Ozumo. There will also be outdoor DJ entertainment.

Tickets for the Block Party are now available via Inticketing.com/evinfo.php?eventid=167196%27 and will also be sold on-site the day of and during the event. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit select Oakland public schools.

The participating businesses include Ozumo, Pican, Luka's Taproom, Era Art Bar, Vo's Restaurant, Shashamane, 3000 Broadway, Inkwell Tattoo Studio, Farley's, Dogwood, Somar Bar and Lounge, and Make Westing.
