Georges has been drawing since she could grasp a crayon in her little mitt and the resulting mastery is evident in her skillful renderings of emoting animals.

Georges and her small herd of domestic canines are fixtures in our fair city, trotting about to the tunes of AM radio while doing grand deeds for PETA and the Independent Publishing Resource Center. She has been enthralling readers for years with her largely autobiographical zine, Invincible Summer, now available in a beautifully bound anthology from Tugboat Press. Owls and Other Animals will feature framed paintings and illustrations, hand-made animals, calendars, cards, and journals."
