GREENSBORO, NC (December 10, 2011) – Brothers Excelling with Self-sufficiency to Thrive (B.E.S.T) will host the half day workshop entitled Overcoming C.H.A.O.S. (Challenges, Hindrances, Adversities, Obstacles, Stigmas) on Monday, January 16, 2012 for 10 am – 2 pm at the Galleria Events Center, located at 1325 S. Eugene Street, Greensboro, NC 27406. Overcoming CHAOS is geared to aid young men, ages 16-24, to make better life decisions and to see the success that is possible with the right mindset.
Overcoming C.H.A.O.S. is a free event, but advanced registration is required. Why Should You Attend?
This event is hosted by B.E.S.T. a non-profit organization founded in Greensboro, NC, in efforts to support the National MLK Day of Service. This event is designed to engage the youth with speakers, mentors, and service organizations around Guilford County. All are welcome to the opening panel discussion from 10-11:30 am. Registered attendees ages 16-24 will continue to breakout sessions from 11:30 am – 2 pm. The breakout sessions are limited to the first 60 attendees and lunch will be served complimentary for those attendees.
