Outdoor Recreation Leadership Adventure Camp

June 8-12/June 22-26/July 1-3, 2009
Session I: June 8-12, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily (ages 6-12, limit 20 participants), $150 per person
Session II: June 22-26, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily (ages 6-12, limit 20 participants), $150 per person
Session III (Ropes and Water-Based Adventures) July 1-3, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily (ages 12-15, limit 20 participants), $100 per person
Cost includes lunches and optional campout dinner. Registration begins May 1.
You will receive confirmation of your application. If you have to cancel your reservation, do so one week prior to the first day of camp to receive a 100 percent refund.
Experience teamwork and challenge on the ropes course; learn kayaking and canoeing at the pool and Mary Walker Bayou; and enjoy outdoor education at the Audubon, Department of Marine Resources, Crane Refuge, Scranton Nature Center, and Gulf Islands National Seashore. Also on the agenda: hiking trails, time on the climbing wall, nature games and swimming at the end of the day. A bonus: one overnight campout!
What to wear/bring: Play clothes, tennis shoes, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuit, towel, insect repellent
