Houston professional photographer David Vu will share tips and techniques of photographing subjects outside. Class will cover equipment choices, focus and aperture settings, tricky lighting and positioning challenges presented by the outdoors. Learn focus-through and selective focus techniques to highlight different parts of the subject and control the background. Class will meet at the Arboretum on Saturday, June 19, 9 a.m. to noon for hands-on practice with an outdoor photography session. Instructor David Vu is a well-known Houston photographer who enjoys wildlife and nature photography in his free time. Cost is $55 for members; $65 for non-members.
The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, a lush 155-acre nature preserve, is one of the city’s greatest natural treasures.
