Our Indian Forefathers and Their Trades in Singapore April 12, 2012

The Indian Heritage Centre’s second community exhibition will trace the history of the trades and professions practiced by Indians who migrated to Singapore from the 19th century onwards. This site specific exhibition will be displayed along the side streets of the Little India precinct and its surrounds next to practising tradesmen and offer insights into the different trades and lifestyles of the early Indian communities in Singapore.
