Our Hospitality April 1, 2013

Westminster College is pleased to present a free screening of Our Hospitality at the Tower Theatre as part of the Ivory Tower Film Studies Program. Westminster student Paul Hudder will introduce the film.

Buster Keaton's 1923 film "Our Hospitality" is a silent, slapstick comedy that follows a feud between the Canfield and McKay families. After his father died, Willie McKay's mother moved him to New York to escape the fighting. Years later, Willie (Keaton) receives a letter saying that he has inherited his father's estate. Willie returns to his family's home, and along the way unwittingly falls for a Canfield girl - Virginia. How will Willie be greeted by the Canfields when he arrives?
