Northern Virginia’s premier storytelling troupe, Better Said Than Done, is putting on a fundraiser for Friends of Reston for Community Projects. “Our Bodies, Our Selves – stories about self discovery, self control, and self destruction” will be performed at the Walker Nature Education Center in Reston, VA on June 2, 2012. All proceeds benefit Friends of Reston and support their mission of community improvement and nature education.
The storytelling event will feature entertaining performances of true stories about the things we do, good and bad, with our own bodies. Storytellers include: Mike Kane, Renata Lana, Karen Lee, Jennifer Luu, Vijai Nathan, Jessica Piscitelli, Mel Pine and Ellouise Schoettler.
Refreshments are available for purchase. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The show is intended for an adult audience.
