The Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth presents the 12th Annual Otsukimi Moon Viewing Celebration.
Enjoy fall at the Dallas Arboretum while sitting under the full harvest moon. You will be entertained by traditional Japanese music preformed by Stan Richardson and Jon Johnson on the shakuhachi, Fumiko Coburn on the koto, and Naoko Stromberg’s Harp Studio Ensemble. In addition, there will be haiku poetry reading and instruction by Mary Mulley, a Japanese calligraphy booth, an ikebana display by the Sogetsu Ikebana Dallas branch, and samples of sake from Sake Girl Toni Ettore and tsukimi dango (rice dumplings).
