Otsukimi - Japanese Moon Viewing October 1, 2012

The Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth will hold its 13th Otsukimi Celebration on Monday, October 1, at 6:30 p.m. at Winfrey Point, 950 E. Lawther Dr, Dallas, TX 75218. Highlights include Japanese flute music, haiku poetry, calligraphy, ikebana (flower arranging), and sampling rice dumplings and Japanese tea. Cultural activities start at 6:30 pm and the program at 7:30 pm. Admission fee: $18 adults, $5 children 3-12 yrs. Bring your picnic supper or pre-order an obento (Japanese box supper) for $18.
