On Saturday, March 9, 2013, Orlando Harley-Davidson will host a pair of events benefiting Operation Giveback to honor the heroic sacrifice of America’s veterans and their families.
POLICE-ESCORTED MOTORCYCLE RIDE
Starting at 11:45 a.m., the motorcycle convoy will travel on surface roads from the Orlando Harley-Davidson South Dealership on 192 in Kissimmee to the Orlando Harley-Davidson Historic Factory Dealership, located at 3770 37th St, Orlando, Florida 32805.
Ride registration will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Orlando Harley-Davidson South Dealership, located at 7786 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy. A $10 donation (cash or check) per rider and a $5 donation per passenger will be required. All proceeds will benefit wounded warriors, their families and the children of our fallen heroes.
THE AFTER-PARTY & BIKE RAFFLE
Starting at 1p.m., hundreds of riders and members of the public will be treated to entertainment and food, including live music and a host of rider-related activities.
Attendance is free and open to the public. Ride participants will receive free food and beverage upon arrival. Food and beverage will be available for purchase for non-ride participants.
BIKE RAFFLE KICK-OFF
The dealership has also donated a custom painted 2013 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide®, valued at more than $20,000, which will be raffled off to help those who have bravely served in Central Florida. With only 400 raffle tickets for sale at $100 each, Harley lovers who dream of owning a custom model have a good chance at winning. At 2 p.m., the Street Glide will be unveiled and raffle tickets will officially go on sale to the public. The lucky raffle winner will be announced on May 11 at the 3rd Annual Operation Giveback 5K/10K/15K Run.Walk.Roll and Warrior Kids Race.
