Organist Gail Archer Presents a Trio of New York City Concerts in Honor of Liszt’s Bicentennial March 13, 2011

Gail Archer, one of the nation’s premier female organists, commemorates the 200th birthday of one of the most prominent 19th century piano composers, Franz Liszt (1811-1886). Supplementing her latest album release Franz Liszt, A Hungarian Rhapsody (Meyer Media), Archer is scheduled to perform a plethora of Liszt’s organ works in three concerts held in various New York City churches.
