A recital of popular organ favourites including some Yuletide links.

Jonathan Scott studied piano and organ at Chetham's School of Music before gaining a scholarship on both instruments to attend the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). With the aid of a Countess of Munster Scholarship he was able to continue his studies in the USA and Holland. Jonathan is currently a member of the keyboard staff at the RNCM.

A prize-winner at many international competitions including the St Albans Organ Competition, the Musica Brittanica Early music Competition and the RCO Performer of the Year Competition, Jonathan also won the coveted Worshipful Company of Musicians WT Best Scholarship and gold medal, and is a Freeman of The City of London.

This season's highlights include the release of his new solo CD 'The Organist', solo appearances with the BBC Philharmonic, RPO, RLPO, CBSO and Hallé orchestras, as well as mid-Atlantic solo performances on QM2. Jonathan has recently completed a series of performances of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue as guest pianist with English National Ballet for their Royal Albert Hall and UK tour production of Strictly Gershwin.
