Oren Safdie presents his new play, A False Solution, as part of the 2011 New York Architecture and Design Film Festival in Tribeca. A False Solution is the third play in a trilogy that Canadian-American-Israeli playwright Safdie sets in the world of contemporary architecture. It tells the story of Anton Seligman, a well-established Jewish-German architect, who has just won a competition to design a new Holocaust museum in Poland. All is proceeding accordingly until he encounters Linda Johansson, a savvy intern and first-year architecture student who challenges his resolve and throws everything he has come to stand for into question. A panel discussion will follow the play. For more details see the website.
