In 2004 I started drawing oranges. My drawings evolved into strikingly playful graphic illustrations of oranges in all sorts of situations. From oranges dangling from trees to oranges exploring the final frontiers of space, my digital paintings show every imaginable scenario that could possibly involve oranges.
Orangepulp is a series of over 90 digital paintings of oranges, done mostly in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop. I have hand-picked my favorite ones for this show.
Some of my biggest inspirations are Andy Warhol, Wayne Thiebaud, Tom Wesselmann, Frida Kahlo, and Kirsten Ulve.
