During this 2 day seminar we shall be looking at the most significant changes. We shall begin with an installation of the GRID infrastructure. Following this we install the necessary RDBMS software.

During these installations we shall highlight any changes in installation procedure. Using our now complete software stack we shall examine, in depth, new features in Oracle Clusterware, Automatic Storage Management and the RDBMS.

This examination will include not only the technical impact but also the business impact as a result of any changes. During our analysis we shall be comparing and contrasting with the older releases 10gR2 and 11gR1 where necessary. The seminar will use a demonstration system based upon Oracle Enterprise Linux 5. There are no labs.
