The Performance Research Seminar brings together our most important and recent Oracle performance research. The topics are vast yet all centered on discovering deep performance insights through experimentation and quantitative analysis. Every aspect of this seminar is based on experimental research with full detailed disclosure. This scientific approach yields deep performance insights that normally escape the DBA. Special care is taken to weave all the raw research into a cohesive seminar that is extremely day-to-day practical.

This seminar was developed by Oracle ACE Director and Founder of OraPub, Craig Shallahamer, the author of the books Oracle Performance Firefighting and Forecasting Oracle Performance, and the research based blog, A Wider View. Craig is a gifted teacher and has a knack for making complex topics come alive and become seemingly uncomplicated.
