Operation Turtle November 23, 2007

It is my pleasure to inform you that we, Japanese Society, will conduct the 7th beach cleaning up campaign, called “Operation Turtles” on Saturday, November 24th at Shuwaikh Beach Park..

We have been conducting this operation annually since 2000 in order to strengthen the relation with Kuwaiti community while making contribution to the environment protection in Kuwait.

We expect more than 100 people, not only Japanese but also Kuwaiti, to join in this remarkable event where we will pick up litter at the beach and park. We hope that our beach cleaning up campaign will enhance people’s awareness of environment protection.
