Gulf Coast Opera presents: OPERA -- The Next Generation

The Gulf Coast Opera presents their final offering of the 2008-09 season:
"The Next Generation," produced by Chester Delacruz, choral music directed by Joanne Edwards, and performers accompanied by pianist Darin Johnson.

The program will feature solos and ensemble numbers, featuring music from opera, operetta, and musical theatre--comedy and drama.

Composers represented will include Verdi, Borodin, Rachmaninov, Gershwin, Menotti, and Leonard Bernstein, and others.
