If you fancy a quick bit of urban outdoor action after work, why not join us for this OpenStreetMap meet-up near Oxford Street?
OpenStreetMap is an editable map of the whole world, which is being built largely from scratch by the community and released with an open content license.
This Wednesday we'll be out mapping around Oxford Street, before meeting in the pub! It is open to everyone whether you are already an active member of the openstreetmap community or just curious to find out more about the project. Have a go at mapping (e.g. with a pencil & a printout), or just come along and join us in the pub!
For more details about the mapping procedure check out the wiki page. This time we're doing a special building outlines mapping session. Bit unusual, but don't let that put you off. You can do normal mapping if you prefer.
