Opening Reception for 6 Degrees of Separation August 11, 2007

Using a different approach to curate an exhibition, the gallery will employ the concept of six degrees of separation wherein everyone is connected to each other in six steps or less. The process will begin with the selection of one artist. This first artist will select the second artist, who in turn selects the third artist and the process continues in this fashion until an entire exhibition has been selected. With this selection process, '6 Degrees of Separation' will highlight the many different styles and mediums happening within a seemingly unconnected art scene while showing there is a line of connection through the artwork.
