SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – July 3 - 31, 2010 – Femina Potens is tickled pink to introduce you to the multi-dimensional world of Sex Workers. This July we bring you a stunning multimedia art installation that combines a performance, video and illustrated portraits of real Las Vegas Sex Workers by artist, Laurenn McCubbin. We are pleased to present her amazing, graphically-explicit one-woman show all month long! Considering the current flaccid economic climate, McCubbin illuminates the underground yet highly visible economic exchange that is Las Vegas sex work. We invite you to the Opening Reception at 7pm, including a sizzling Artist Performance at 9pm on the evening of Saturday, July 3rd, 2010. Enjoy refreshments and libations during the opening reception as we tell the stories of these sex-positive individuals and their work.
