Opening night screening of SHIFTY & Q&A with Eran Creevy, Riz Ahmed and Danny Mays

SPECIAL OPENING NIGHT Q&A: The Curzon Soho welcome director Eran Creevy and lead actors Riz Ahmed and Danny Mays to answer your questions after the 6.30pm screening on Friday 24 April.

After a lengthy absence, Chris (Daniel Mays, Vera Drake) returns home to London – ostensibly to attend a party – to catch up with Shifty (Riz Ahmed), the best friend he left behind. Shifty has started dealing drugs, serving a variety of customers from the community. Chris shadows his old mate over the course of an eventful 24 hours where they confront the ghosts from the past that drove Chris away, and the dangerous present that Shifty finds himself in. Based on writer-director Creevy’s teenage experiences, and boasting convincing performances from a cast of rising stars, Shifty is a terrifically energetic and engaged slice of social realism.
