Las Cruces, NM – The Las Cruces Arts Association Fall Membership Show will be held at Branigan Cultural Center and opens on Friday, October 2nd with an artist reception from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. It remains on display through November 7, 2009.
The Las Cruces Arts Association was founded in 1962 by artists who sought a way to communicate with other artists and be of service in the arts. Several of the group’s earliest members remain active today. Through the years members have formed three other major local arts organizations as well as a number of smaller, less formal ones. Member artists participate in regional and local exhibits, fairs, service projects and art galleries throughout New Mexico and the Southwest.
