Opening Gala for Brooklyn Indie House Festival November 12, 2010

Returning for its sixth year, Brooklyn Indie House Film Festival is opening with a Red Carpet Gala, which will feature the World Premiere of the indie soap opera Drama, Inc!

The Red Carpet begins promptly at 5:30PM and is followed by an Open Bar Cocktail & Hors d'Oeuvre Reception at 6:30PM. The World Premiere screening of Drama, Inc. takes place at 8:00PM and is followed by Q&A with Drama, Inc.’s director, writer, cast, and crew.

Drama, Inc. is best described as a series full of underhanded record deals, backstabbing partners, sex, action, suspense, and mystery: At the record label Drama, Inc., the strained relationship between former best friends and company founders Milton Baynes and Noor Fuast (Rob Morgan) takes center stage. Written by Jennifer Richards and produced and directed by Babatunde Odesanya, Drama, Inc. features an amazing cast of independent talent, including Jennifer Richards (Pro Black Sheep), Okema T. Moore (XI Magazine), Krystal Farris (Platanos and Collard Greens), Osas Ighodaro (Miss Black USA 2010, Cadillac Records), Shelley Thomas (On the Levee), Heland Lee (D 4 Delivery), and Ephraim Benton (Precious). Talks are also in the works to add Taimak (The Last Dragon) to the cast in upcoming episodes.
