I'm a web developer (specializing on Ruby on Rails) from Munich, Germany. I'm in Brighton this week, trying to meet other developers, as I'm planning on moving to Brighton later this year. Is this an event I should be attending?
Morn - Yes, it'd be a good way to meet local companies. Send me a note if you'd like a lift, it is possible that Matt or I can drive you up here.
The Innovation Centre is out-of-town and home to 70 startups, many high-tech, and the aim of these Open Coffees is to get town-people and Innovation Centre-people to meet each other.
There will be 10-20 companies here over coffee.
If you're about on Friday then Matt Weston (http://upcoming.yahoo.com/user/66173/) usually runs the Business Bricks coffee in town, you might want to mail him and ask if this Friday's is running. It is smaller (it runs every week, ours is every month) but always has interesting people to talk to, and it is held in town.
Ian.
Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it after all, but thanks for the offer. I'll try again when I'm back to Brighton in a couple of months.

If anyone from Brighton wants a lift, I'll be driving. Would be good to take a carful.
