Open mic/Open dance October 4, 2012

We're going Southside again in October for another great night of open mic poetry, live jazz and hot dancing. Where else ya gonna have a chance to let your words shine (with live jazz backup, no less!) and then get your groove on without even leaving the room?

Open mic will be from roughly 6-8pm, with sign-up at the door a little beforehand. The gracious gents of Super64 are joining us this side the river as well to play a few and provide improvisational backup to any open mic-er so desiring.

Cover is $5.

After the open mic, stick around to dance! What kind of dance, you ask? It's completely up to you. Our gracious hosts Gary and Teresa will take their direction from how *you* wanna move-- be it salsa or swing or anything in between. So bring your dancing shoes and get ready to get footloose!
