Open Door Nursery School will hold an open house on Saturday, Feb. 25th, from 10 a.m. to Noon. Any parents interested in learning more about Open Door are welcome to attend with their children. The open house provides an opportunity for parents and children to see the facility, and to meet the staff in an informal setting.
Parents wishing to register their child in Open Door should also plan to attend its annual registration night on Tuesday, March 7th at 7 p.m. The evening's activities will include a slideshow, a parent presentation, and question and answer time with staff and board members. Registration forms will be available, with placement preference given to those in attendance. This event is for parents only.
Open Door Nursery School (ODNS) has been serving Northfield since 1966. Fully licensed by the State of Minnesota and accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, the school is located in the lower level of St. John's Lutheran Church, 500 3rd St. West, in Northfield. The entrance is located on the northeast corner of the building.
Open Door Nursery School provides a positive, nurturing environment for a child's total growth. Art, music, dramatic play, story-time, large and small motor activities and social interactions in a play setting are all part of the school's developmentally appropriate program.
