The Triangle Gay Men's Chorus announces an open call for male singers, age 18 and over, to join us as we prepare to present the Triangle premiere of "Sing for the Cure" to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure- NC Triangle.
Open Rehearsals will be on Tuesday April 19, from 6:45-9:15pm, at the Durham Arts Council, 120 Morris Street in downtown Durham. All gay and gay-affirming men who enjoy singing are welcome. We will be performing "A Proclamation of Hope- featuring Sing for the Cure" with the Common Woman Chorus and orchestral ensemble on Sunday evening, June 12 in the Meymandi Concert Hall of Raleigh's Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
"Sing for the Cure" is the world- renowned song cycle which honors all those affected by breast cancer. Proceeds will benefit the choruses and Susan G. Komen for the Cure- NC Triangle.
