Bower City Theatre Company will present the hilarious Mel Brooks musical THE PRODUCERS. THE PRODUCERS ranks as one of the biggest musicals in Broadway history – nominated for a record 15 Tony Awards, and winning 12. This outrageous, hilarious, a teeny bit offensive, off the wall musical tells the story of a washed up Broadway producer, Max Bialystock and a meek accountant Leo Bloom. They set out looking to produce the worst Broadway show imaginable after discovering they can make more money on a flop because the show’s investors would never have to be paid back. THE PRODUCERS is never boring and you will find yourself holding your sides with laughter as Max and Leo sing and dance their way through the greatest show biz scam that there ever was!
