ONLINE PR – A Manchester Digital / Chartered Institute of Public Relations Event - Sold Out
As newspaper and magazine circulation figures plummet, TV viewing figures decline and radio is reaching less listeners than before, the population is embracing a digital revolution and turning to the World Wide Web for their entertainment and information. As communicators it is more important than ever that we harness and utilise online and social media to communicate our messages and enter dialogues with our customers, stakeholders and audiences. The Chartered Institute of Public Relations and Manchester Digital, the trade association for Manchester’s digital industries, have joined forces to deliver this evening seminar which will provide you with the knowledge, tools and inspiration to effectively communicate online. We’ll be exploring social media tools such as blogs and podcasts, social networking sites such as MySpace, YouTube and virtual worlds such as Second Life. We’ll also look at how to write for the web and provide case studies of companies who have successfully embraced online communications.
