"One Singular Sensation: The American Jew and the Musical Theater" January 19, 2012

VCU professor Dr. Jack D. Spiro will investigate the relationship between the indigenous American artform of musical theater and Jewish culture in a lecture on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the Commonwealth Ballrooms of the VCU Student Commons. This event marks the opening of the exhibit "A Fine Romance: Jewish Songwriters, American Songs, 1910-1965" at James Branch Cabell Library. The exhibit runs from Jan. 19 through Feb. 24, 2012.
