One day Spinning Workshop April 17, 2010

Learn to spin yarn from the spinning wheel. This is a very comprehensive, one-day workshop to initiate beginners in to the peaceful endeavor of spinning. Students are welcome to bring their own spinning wheels, or use those brought by the instructor.
Cherri Hankins will present techniques on drafting fiber, spinning singles, and plying in this workshop. Students will learn the basics of spinning yarn, and should create a skein or two of yarn on the day of the workshop. The workshop is a sponsored workshop, making it very affordable.
Materials are provided.
