Join artist Amy Howden-Chapman, Dugal McKinnon, Senior Lecturer, Sonic Arts and Composition at Victoria University and Heather Galbraith, Senior Curator / Manager Curatorial Programmes at City Gallery for a discussion about the One Day Sculpture project The Flood, My Chanting, commissioned by City Gallery Wellington. On Thursday 9 October Howden-Chapman created a temporary circuit of bells corrsponding to the part of Wellington which is on reclaimed land, and therefore most under threat from future flooding. The project also looked back to the tradition of ringing church bells to raise alarm in times of danger.
