One Day Coop Academy I April 13, 2009

Coop Academy I is the first session of 10 week training program that will introduce attendees how to utilize a worker cooperative model that is environmental friendly. The development of a worker cooperative will allow participants to realize their dreams of owning a business based in the South Bronx.
Topics of the accelerated Coop Academy I (which will be help April 13 from 4pm to 8pm):
1) Why should I own my own business and am I ready?
2) What's a coop and what does a worker coop model look like?
3) What's Green and why is it important.
4) Let's build our business collectively.

Coop Academy 2 classes will be starting on April 20th
Topics involved sales, marketing, finances, organizational behavior, accounting and budgeting.
