After months of cold weather and short days, summer is finally upon us. Parks are swarmed with bodies, heat rises from the pavement and the sun is welcomed each and every day. While rooftop parties may conquer a majority of everyone’s attention, there’s one holiday that highly anticipated well before summer, Independence Day! This 4th of July, New York City will be teaming with crowds of people celebrating their patriotism, but sometimes the public events, although free, can be a little too much to handle.
This year, the infamous New York Princess yacht will host an Independence Day cruise that’s been garnering massive attention. BBQ’s in public parks are the norm on Independence Day, but this year there’s finally an opportunity for an alternative event that’s set to feature an exclusive day on the water with a 3-hour open bar, dinner buffet as well as a fireworks display! The posh interior of the New York Princess is fit for royalty, and on this evening it can host dozens of families for the Independence Day entertainment!
