On the Edge of New includes works by Justin Garcia, Felipe Lopez, Winston Lee Mascarenhas, Deborah Porter, Cheryl Schubert, Nazar Yahya. Typically, Wade Wilson Art represents artists working in mid to mature stages of their careers but rarely, if ever, does the gallery work with emerging artists. This exhibit combines both works of emerging artists along with works by artists who are new to the Houston community or just reaching the beginnings of their artistic stride. Now in its sixth year of operations, Wade Wilson Art, with this exhibit, is nurturing a new generations of masters. On the Edge of New specifically features recent paintings by artists whose works have moved Wilson to respond in a favorable way. Hence, Wilson has chosen works by seven artists to present to the collecting community – some of whom he intends to represent and will announce after the exhibit opens to the public. Wade Wilson Art is located at 4411 Montrose, Suite 200.

Following the reception will be an after party featuring more work from the dynamic new artists at Cha Champagne & Wine Bar.
